Robert Mounsey has been committed to excellence ever since he was a young man. He attended the University of Toronto and earned his medical degree from there, interned at the University of Western Ontario, and then returned to the University of Toronto for his residency, during which he specialized in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. For over 20 years his private practice has served the areas of Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga, North York, and the surrounding areas, and Dr. Mounsey has continuously maintained his standard of excellence since beginning his studies. His awards include the Award of Clinical Excellence from the University of Toronto (earned during his final year of residency there) and numerous other academic awards, particularly in the biological sciences. Dr. Mounsey has presented at various international conferences and his work in otolaryngology has been published numerous times in scientific and medical journals.
